Volunteers

Thank you for considering to volunteer at our Annual Fun Run / Walk and Knockout Tournament.  Volunteers are a vital part to the overall success of an event, and we would love to have you join us.  Below you will find some information regarding the volunteer duties.  As a volunteer, you will receive a Free Event Race Day T-Shirt, and morning refreshments.  Also, HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: you can count these volunteer hours towards your requirement(s) needed for school.

Volunteer Duties Needed (Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 7:15am to 11:30am):

• Marshals for the Start Line & Finish Line: work with Eclectic Edge Racing Lead to help participants line up in the proper place before the race starts; assist with the Finish Line by congratulating participants and guide them through the finish area.
• Water Station: help keep our participants hydrated during the race route.  Set up a table and fill cups of water for easy access.  The table and water will be provided.
• Course Marshals: these volunteers play a key role in keeping our participants headed in the right direction during the race.  You will be assigned a location on the route, and will direct participants based on your Course Marshal instructions.
• Knockout Basketball Rounds: these volunteers will assist a referee with punch cards and scores for each participant at each basket in the gymnasium.
